Service area · Lake Anna
Wildlife removal at Lake Anna.
Lake houses have a problem no full-time home has: nobody is there to hear it. An animal that gets into a weekend house in September can have the run of the place until spring.

What we run into in Lake Anna
We cover the whole Lake Anna area — Louisa, Mineral and Bumpass — and the work here is shaped by one fact above all others: a lot of these houses are empty most of the week.
In a full-time home, an attic squirrel gets noticed within days, because somebody is lying in bed at six in the morning listening to it. In a house that's used at weekends in season and barely at all in winter, the same animal goes unnoticed for months. By the time anyone opens the place up properly you're not dealing with an entry point — you're dealing with an entry point plus a season of chewing, fouled insulation and, often, more than one animal.
The rest of it is wooded lots, decks, boathouses and crawlspaces, all of which give wildlife good cover right up against the building.
- Part-time and seasonal occupancy, so problems run undetected for months rather than days
- Heavily wooded lots with canopy and cover right up against the building
- Decks, screened porches, boathouses and lakeside outbuildings
- Crawlspaces on sloping lakeside lots
- Houses shut up over winter — the period when most of the damage quietly happens
Lake Anna call-outs
What we get called for here.
Squirrel removal
Wooded lots and an empty house. The classic lake-house find: months of chewing discovered in one weekend.
Squirrels in the attic →Bat removal & exclusion
A roost in a house nobody visits can get well established before it's noticed. Certified, permitted, and seasonal by law.
Bats in the attic →Raccoon removal
Decks, crawlspaces and quiet attics make good dens, especially somewhere with no one coming and going.
Raccoons and decks →Wildlife exclusion & repairs
The right answer for a house you aren't in — seal it properly once rather than checking on it forever.

Lake Anna questions we get asked
I'm only at the house at weekends. Do I need to be there?
For the inspection, ideally yes — walking the roofline and the attic with you and showing you the photographs on the spot is most of the value. We can work around a weekend schedule; tell us when you're up and we'll plan around it.
I opened the house in spring and found a mess. How long has that been going on?
Very possibly since autumn. That's the defining problem with a part-time house — an animal that gets in during September has until spring before anybody notices, so what you're looking at is usually months of chewing and fouled insulation rather than a fresh entry.
Is it worth sealing a house I'm only in half the year?
It's arguably worth more. Exclusion is a one-time repair that holds while you're not there, which is exactly what a part-time house needs — as opposed to a treatment that assumes someone is around to monitor it. Our work carries a 1-year warranty unless we've discussed otherwise.
Which Lake Anna addresses do you cover?
All of them — Louisa 23093, Mineral 23117 and Bumpass 23024, on both the Louisa and Spotsylvania sides of the lake. We're based in Partlow, which is on this side of the county.
